Zar-Min Description
ZAR-MIN is a natural zeolite, a mineral of volcanic origin, and is the clinoptilolite crystal type of natural zeolite. The three dimension honeycomb structure of ZAR-MIN has a large surface area and high cation exchange capacity or ionic buffering capacity.
- Surface Area: 22 square meters per gram
- Cation Exchange Capacity: 1.65 meq/g
The 22 meters per square gram equates to about 4,900 square feet per pound.
ZAR-MIN natural zeolite is low in sodium and high in potassium and calcium compared to other natural zeolites. Since ZAR-MIN is a natural product there can be some minor variations in the final product:
