Zeolite Filter Media for Superior Water Filtration Performance

ZeoSand, Ruby Sand, and ZeoFiber deliver superior water clarity through advanced filtration performance, longer filter cycles, and improved system efficiency.

ZeoSand

ZeoSand is a high-performance natural zeolite filter media designed to replace conventional sand in swimming pool, spa, and industrial filtration systems. The high surface area and ion-exchange capacity of zeolite capture finer  particles, reduce turbidity, and extend filter cycles.

Ruby Sand

Ruby Sand is a durable calcined clay filtration media engineered for consistent performance and mechanical strength in demanding filtration applications. The optimized particle structure improves filtration efficiency while maintaining excellent backwash characteristics.

ZeoFiber

ZeoFiber is an advanced cellulose fiber filtration media designed for ultra-fine particle removal and rapid water clarification. The lightweight fiber structure creates a dense filtration matrix capable of capturing extremely fine suspended solids. ZeoFiber, a safe alternative to DE, gives finer filtration

Each filtration media is engineered for specific performance requirements. For most water filtration applications, ZeoSand provides the highest overall performance.

Performance-Driven Filtration Solutions

ZEO develops zeolite filter media and engineered filtration materials designed to outperform traditional sand and glass systems. Our approach begins with performance requirements—not a single material—ensuring the best filtration solution for each application.

We evaluate natural zeolites, calcined clay media, cellulose fiber filtration materials, and advanced mineral formulations to deliver measurable improvements in clarity, efficiency, and operational performance.

Why Zeolite Filter Media Outperforms Sand and Glass

  • Finer filtration (2–5 microns) for improved water clarity
  • Higher dirt-holding capacity reduces backwashing frequency
  • Lower bulk density improves flow and reduces pressure drop
  • Ion-exchange capacity enhances contaminant capture
  • Longer filter cycles improve system efficiency
