Organic and GRAS

EcoSand is organic and GRAS. As a 100% natural mined mineral with no additives, EcoSand meets the USDA requirements to be organic and can be used as an input in a USDA Organic operation. By meeting the FDA requirements, EcoSand is Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS).

Organic

EcoSand is a mined substance of low solubility (7CRF 205.203(d)(3)) and contains no additives or chemical modification. By meeting these requirements, EcoSand qualifies as organic under the USDS National Organic Program (NOP) and may be used as an additive or input in USDA Certified Organic operations. By meeting these requirements, EcoSand is 100% organic.

GRAS

EcoSand is Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) by meeting the chemical assay specifications in the Food Chemical Codes and the requirements of the FDA.
